For my fourth project at Prague Film School, I took on the role of Director of Photography, choosing to focus entirely on cinematography rather than directing. The film, written and directed by Liam, follows a young woman living in a caravan who, desperate for work, faces an unsettling interview where her limits are pushed by a manipulative interviewer.
This project allowed me to explore lighting in depth — shaping light to reflect the psychological tension and the confined, gritty atmosphere of the caravan setting. I experimented with practicals and motivated sources to create visual layers that heightened the character’s isolation and vulnerability.
Working as DP on this project deepened my comfort with lighting setups, shot planning, and collaborating closely with a director to translate story beats into strong visual moments.
